Hijab (Veil)

Dear sisters,
Why do you hate me?
Why are you rejecting me?!
Don’t you know?
I am your protector from evil glances of strangers
I am your defender against eager eyes of men
I am here in this Dunya to protect you
Why are you treating me as if I am a burden for you?
Your Lord honored you with me
He raised your status through me
I am your chastity, I am your modesty
Listen to me carefully…
You will remember my words when you will be standing in front of Allah on Judgment Day
And you will wish to return to Dunya to find me
But you won’t… it will be too late”
